Some language schools in the Philippines accept bookings from one week. Using schools’ official fee tables, we set out prices for one- and two-week stays and the fixed costs that weigh more on a short stay. Checked on 30 October 2026.
In short
Some schools take one-week bookings: in Target’s table, one week costs USD 536 to 736 (tuition and housing). The SSP is required whatever the length, so local fees weigh more on a short stay. Check public holidays and arrival-day rules before you set your dates.
Schools that accept one-week bookings
Some language schools in the Philippines accept bookings from one week. Examples that list one-week prices on their official fee pages are below.
For choosing the number of lessons, see how many one-to-one lessons a day.
- Target (Cebu): one-week prices for tuition and housing by room size
- Enderun Colleges language center (Manila): one-week price for a course of four one-to-one lessons a day
Example prices for one and two weeks
In the fee table of Target (tuition and housing), the TARGET 4 course costs USD 536 (six-person room) to USD 736 (single room) for one week, and USD 804 to USD 1,104 for two weeks.
At the Enderun Colleges language center, the four-lessons-a-day one-to-one course costs USD 364 for one week without housing and USD 520 with a student dormitory (four to five people per room).
Costs that apply even to short stays
The SSP is required whatever the length. At Target, the SSP application and E-CARD fees together come to 12,300 pesos, the same for a one-week stay.
Some schools charge extra only for short stays. B&D English School charges a 5,000-peso registration fee for stays of three weeks or less and none for four weeks or more. Target adds USD 40 for each peak-season week in summer 2027 for bookings shorter than eight weeks.
Planning your dates
CEGA says classes are off on weekends and Philippine public holidays, with no make-up classes for holidays. On a one- or two-week stay, a single holiday noticeably reduces your lessons.
Arrival days have rules too. Target charges for an extra night (1,500 pesos) if you arrive on the Saturday before you start, and adds 1,000 pesos to the pickup fee for flights arriving at weekends and early on Monday. See pickups by school in our guide to studying English in Cebu.
Making the most of a short stay
To get more speaking time in a short stay, consider the following.
- Take more lessons, while keeping time for self-study
- Choose a week with fewer public holidays
- Arrive the day before you start to avoid extra nights
What to check before you apply
For a one- or two-week course, check these four points.
- One-week prices and whether there is a short-stay registration fee
- Local fees such as the SSP
- Whether your weeks include public holidays, and whether classes are made up
- Arrival-day rules and pickup prices
