A day at a Philippine language school, from breakfast to lessons, meals and evening activities, is set by the school’s timetable. We set out four schools whose official pages show timetables with clock times, and compared when morning lessons start and whether self-study is scheduled. Checked on 31 October 2026.
In short
Among the four schools with timetables on their official pages, three start lessons in the 8:00 hour and Grandline starts at 9:30. Two schools put self-study in the timetable, and the evening plan ends anywhere from 19:00 to 22:00. Open the timetable of a school you are considering and compare the morning start and the evening end.
Four schools with timetables on their official pages
Timetables differ from school to school. For this article we set out four schools whose official pages show a timetable with clock times. For the whole picture of studying in the Philippines, see our guide to studying English in the Philippines.
Some schools present theirs as a sample, and some say it changes with the season or course. Before you apply, ask the school for the latest timetable.
The school pages are HELP, 3D Academy, Curious World and Grandline.

Weekends: school rules
HELP restricts weekday outings, and says students may travel overnight on Saturdays and Sundays with a travel form (except in the first week).
Curious World treats Saturday and Sunday as free time and serves meals as on weekdays. Move-in is on Sunday and move-out on Saturday, with a mock test every Thursday and a graduation ceremony from 15:00 on Friday.
Grandline leaves weekends up to each student. 3D’s timetable covers Monday to Friday only and says nothing about weekends.
What to check in a timetable
When you compare timetables, check these five points.
- The time of the first lesson and the breakfast hours
- Whether self-study is in the timetable
- How late the evening plan runs
- Rules on weekday outings and weekend overnight trips
- Whether the timetable changes with the course or season
Next step: open each school’s timetable
Open the schools you are considering in the list of schools in the Philippines and compare the timetables on their official pages. For the whole process, see our guide to studying English in the Philippines.
