ILAC, a language school in Toronto and Vancouver, went bankrupt on 18 September 2026 and cancelled all classes. Languages Canada, the national association of language schools, is placing affected students at member schools. Students with a study permit need to apply again with documents from their new school, and in British Columbia tuition paid may be claimed from a provincial fund.
