In the Philippines, dorm fees change with the number of people in a room. Whether meals, laundry and water are included depends on how each school words it. Using BLOOM ABROAD’s listing data and the official pages of eight schools, we set out prices by room size, what is included, extra charges and how outside lodging is treated. Checked on 31 October 2026. For the whole process, see our guide to studying English in the Philippines.
In short
At HELP, the dorm fee for four weeks is USD 1,030 for a single room and USD 600 for a four-person room, and both include daily meals and drinking water. How laundry, utilities, cleaning and Wi-Fi are handled differs by school, so check each school’s “included” and “paid locally” lists before you apply.
Schools with dorms in the listing data
In BLOOM ABROAD’s listing data, 26 of the 67 schools in the Philippines are recorded as offering a dorm or other lodging (as of 31 October 2026). The other 41 simply have no record, which does not mean they have no dorm.
Here we line up eight schools that state room sizes, prices and what is included on their official pages: HELP, Target, CEGA, Well, Curious World Academy, B&D, Enderun and Merise.
You can open each school’s details from the list of schools in the Philippines.
Four-week prices by room size
This table shows how the four-week price moves with the number of people in the room, within the same school. HELP’s table covers the dorm fee only, while Target’s and Curious World Academy’s tables combine tuition and the dorm fee. Because the scope differs, we do not compare amounts between schools.

More examples of prices by room size
Target also has a six-person room, and four weeks of TARGET 4 costs USD 1,340. Both the four-person and six-person rooms are described as bunk-bed rooms.
B&D English School is in Dumaguete, and four weeks of its ESL Standard course costs USD 1,375 in a single room. A double room costs USD 1,220 if you use it alone and USD 1,185 per person if two people book together, and a four-person room costs USD 1,090. These combine tuition and the dorm fee.
B&D describes its four-person room as a limited offer (two men and two women) in which you may share with a Filipino teacher. It says electricity is split among students only.
At Enderun Colleges in Manila, four weeks of the M4G2 language course costs USD 2,620 in a single room in an outside dorm, USD 1,900 in a four- to five-person room in the student dorm and USD 1,420 for commuting.
CEGA and Well also list room types. CEGA has two-person and single rooms, plus a hotel plan in its second dorm. Well English Academy in Dumaguete has Standard (one person), Standard Plus (one or two people) and Deluxe rooms. Check their official pages for current prices.
What is included and what you pay separately
What counts as “included” differs by school, so the table follows each school’s own wording. An item missing from the table does not mean it does not exist. It means the page does not mention it.

Laundry, water and electricity charges
Laundry falls into three types: included in the price, a service fee, or done by yourself. The conditions on the official pages are as follows.
- Well: laundry twice a week is included in the listed price
- HELP: the laundry service is a monthly charge of 1,000 pesos for four weeks and 3,000 pesos for 12 weeks. Above 16 kg, 35 pesos per kg is added
- Target: optional, 150 pesos per use (up to 6 kg), up to three days a week
- CEGA: paid by the student, with a reference price of 25 to 35 pesos per kg. You can use the accommodation reception or a nearby laundry
- Enderun: laundry service twice a week in the dorm. Detergent, washing machines and laundry space are listed as not provided
- Water and electricity: amounts for Target, CEGA and HELP are in our article on local fees
- Curious World Academy: utilities 800 pesos a week, water 300 pesos a week and cleaning management 600 pesos a week
- B&D: water 125 pesos a week, and electricity at the actual meter cost
- Well: electricity 600 to 1,000 pesos a week, depending on room type
- Enderun: a general management fee of USD 25 a week, which includes electricity and water
- Drinking water: included in the HELP dorm fee. At CEGA, drinking water is part of the 500 pesos a week for utilities
Outside lodging, hotels and extra nights
Some schools describe other forms of lodging besides the regular dorm on their official pages. Conditions for not using the dorm are set by each school, so check the school’s rules and what the fees cover before you apply.
- Enderun: the price list has rows for “outside dorm, single room” and “student dorm, four to five people”, and a “commuting” or “self-arranged accommodation” row. A note says no general management fee applies if you arrange your own lodging
- CEGA: you choose among a two-person room, a single room and a hotel plan in the second dorm (single occupancy)
- Merise: a commuting plan without lodging, and a plan in which the school arranges a partner hotel. The hotel does not serve breakfast, and weekday breakfast is served at the school building
- Extra nights (per night): at CEGA, 700 pesos for a two-person room, 1,000 pesos for a single room and 1,900 pesos for the second-dorm hotel plan. Target charges 1,500 pesos, and Curious World Academy 2,000 pesos
What to check before you apply
When comparing dorm conditions, check these five points.
- The number of people in the room, and when you may share
- Whether the price table covers the dorm fee only or tuition and dorm combined
- How many meals are served, and whether weekend and holiday meals are included
- Whether laundry, cleaning, Wi-Fi and utilities are in the price or paid locally
- The price if you do not use the dorm, and the price for extra nights
