BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology) is BC's only public polytechnic and one of Canada's largest institutions, with around 20,000 students across five campuses — the main one in Burnaby — plus student housing. Its computer science and aerospace programs are highly regarded, feeding directly into tech-sector demand on the North American west coast. The institute reports an average employment rate of 96%, with some programs citing 100%, reflecting an intensely practical curriculum. Attached ESL programs (ISEP/PELD) let students build language skills first. A serious choice for anyone committed to a technology career.
