Centennial College, established in 1966, was Ontario's first public community college. Around 50,000 students attend, including more than 9,000 international students from about 130 countries, across six campuses in Toronto equipped with modern facilities and many Co-op programs. Its in-house ESL (ELL) is popular for its accessible price of $1,040 per three weeks. Early childhood education and culinary programs are frequently recommended to international students, and abundant pathways from partner language schools make it easy to progress from English preparation straight into a diploma program.
