Lakefield College School, established in 1879, sits in a lakeside village about 90 minutes northeast of Toronto. The coeducational school enrolls roughly 430 students in Grades 9-12 from over 40 countries, with international students making up 27-33%. Its 315-acre campus of forest and lake holds 12 boarding houses, and outdoor education is a required part of the program. Students pursue the OSSD with AP courses in Grades 11-12, supported by EAL services and dedicated academic advisors from Grade 11. With a 100% university placement record, it suits those who want strong academics rooted in nature.
