GEOS Vancouver is a small, homey school of about 100 students that belongs to an international chain. Its worldwide shared curriculum builds accurate English through hands-on conversation practice, and students can transfer between GEOS schools in Canada and the US while keeping the same fee structure. The campus faces Gastown's famous steam clock. Partnerships with roughly 50 North American colleges and universities allow progression via a language completion certificate, and the school maintains a homestay database with hundreds of listings plus a short-term Under-20 Vacationers program for ages 16 and up—well suited to conversation-focused learners who prefer a small school.
