The only option in this comparison you can fully open, including ID verification, while still in Japan. You get AUD account details (BSB + account number) and can pay by card and receive transfers from day one in Australia. The app and support are available in Japanese. As it is not a bank account, some employers may still require a local bank account for salary payments.
